My Place History

My Place History was conceived by Esri, one of the leading geographic information system (GIS) technology companies that is using geographic insight to address social, economic, business, and environmental concerns at local, regional, national, and global scales. It leverages the concept of “geomedicine” and explores the relationships between one’s environment and personal health.

Krate worked with Esri to bring My Place History over to the iPhone/iPad. We designed a new user interface and developed the full iOS version of the app. The app allows one to find and store locations of where they have lived, worked, attended school, or spent significant time. Each saved location shows related health information, such as heart attack rates or toxic release inventory data from the EPA. The final collection of data can be exported as a PDF and e-mailed from the device to your doctor or trusted health care professional for further examination.
